📝Reflecting on my incredible journey as a breastfeeding mother, this World Breastfeeding Week I celebrate nearly 600 days of nurturing my daughter with love and care.

📸If you want to know what I'm staring at in this photograph it's actually the most beautiful Asian elephants at the zoo. One of life's most amazing experiences as I gaze at a mother or aunt breastfeeding their calf. 

🐘Did you know elephant's milk is really high in protein and has 100 times more protein than cow's milk?! 

👩‍🔧This year's theme, 'Let's make breastfeeding and work, work' I've been able to stay by my daughter's side throughout the entire time I've been feeding her. It hasn't always been easy, but with hard work, determination, and support from Shaheda, Carmelle Gentle, Rosie, Vanisha, Ruth and whoever else we've met along the way. We've truly thrived together. Forever grateful for this bond we share! 🌟
